Several years ago I did a seminar at a pastors’ conference on How to Use the Greek New Testament. I remember one pastor telling me how he had slept through his Greek classes in school because he was working full-time and raising a family. He shared how much he desired to use the Greek New Testament in his preaching, but was frustrated because he did not know the language. This feeling is shared by many pastors who don’t have a lot of time to study the language and who are reluctant to spend hundreds of dollars on books and software. Unfortunately, because they don’t use the Greek language in teaching and preaching, many pastors are missing some of the gold nuggets in the New Testament, because they don’t have the tools to mine what is there.

Because of this, I have written a book that will aid pastors and teachers in using the Greek New Testament in preaching and teaching. It is called The Greek New Testament Made Easy. This book will not cover every verse of the New Testament but treats all major passages where the Greek makes a difference in interpretation and application. It is written in an easy-to-understand style and format, with an emphasis on the practical application for daily living. You will be amazed at how much the Greek can add to your teaching ministry and increase your enthusiasm for the Word of God.

I have spent the last 30 years studying and exegeting the Greek New Testament, have taught Greek in the classroom, and preached extensively from it in pastoral ministry. I have a passion to help pastors in this area. We have provided some samples from Luke that are included in the book.
